Empowerment
Our Mission
We intend to increase the number of youth in our area of North Central Troy, NY, that receive mentoring services, community activities, and positive pathways to build a better future, in an area troubled by violence, criminal activity, forgotten leadership and opportunities.
Our Programs
Community Service
Our community service initiatives aim to provide our local youth with access to people who care about their future. Our community members offer love and support with mentoring programs and events that support their personal growth and belief in their capabilities when all others fail them. We are the local face of reason in these troubled times. Our youth are not alone... we step in to set an example of what life can offer when you choose to set your life's direction on a path that will benefit you and your family in the here and now, and the future.

Support Services
From food support to local events benefitting our families and youth, we anticipate the needs of our local community and we develop programs to help. Events such as a free, filled backpack event in a local park to benefit our youth this year before school started, a "trunk or treat" to offer safe Halloween activities for our families to enjoy, Holiday activities and more, go a long way to build relationships. We have events that include veterinary services, food drives (thank you Dr. Naheem Billups ! ), bowling and basketball fundraising events, park activities, free concerts and more that bring the citizens of the North Central community together.
We arrange various events throughout the year to bring our community together in solidarity. Our community exists of many cultures that we choose to help blend together in harmonious friendship, to achieve our community's goals to preserve a better existence in these tough times.
